Reality TV shows focus on a narrow, regressive interpretation of women. They seem to think that all women are pathetic and know nothing.. The world has changed, women are gaining equality!
ReplyDeleteBy taking her clothes off in front of a camera, she is signifying that she is ready to go along with what she imagined the producers might be planning. This means she is signifying her willingness to undertake the role of celebrity and make their most private attributes public - Not what you should have planned when you have a young child.
ReplyDeleteThe bourgiese agree with the desire to have false needs as it helps keep the elite above the wokring class because the poletariate pay into the production. In the case of Chole by paying out for all the surgery she is giving her money to the bourgiese. It is known as a culture industry, where the industry uses the popular culture in order to create needs for the group who are highly unaware that they are unconsiously being exploitated.
